What is CW Ministerium?
CW Ministerium stands for "Casae Verbum Vehit Mnisiterium", which means "the ministry that carries the Word to the House". We created this umbrella organization to seed our projects. Although a little different in nature, they all promote the "Culture of Home" through hospitality, Intentional Accompaniment, Theology of the body and Sustainability.

We have great expectations for this ministry. For starters, we hope to develop a local hub for Catholic Fellowship, Evangelization in Word and deed, integral formation, and encountering Jesus in the Eucharist. We also want to share the tools that have helped us become more intentional in our life and mission. Once this firm foundation is set, we will move to the next phase of the ministry, which consists of applying the Culture of Home to further the development of sustainable communities, where "Sister Nature" is perceived as an integral "member".

In order to make our dreams happen, we have to start by being able to fund them. Paul built tents to sustain his ministry, as for us, we create art, growth-inspiring tools and merchandise, translate resources from English to Spanish, and offer formation on Intentional Accompaniment, Theology of the body and Sustainability.

What is the Culture of Home?
What makes you feel at home? To us, a home is more than a place, it is a kind, joyful, peaceful environment where people feel free to be themselves because they trust they belong and are confident they are loved unconditionally. Furthermore, when we know we belong we are encouraged to take ownership of our home and seek to improve it. There are five pillars to the Culture of Home:
Becoming a home for God
Jesus wants to give us the fullness of life. The more we open our hearts to Him, the more He can transform us into the best version of ourselves.
"Here I am! I stand at the door and knock..."
- Revelation 3:20
Being at home within
We were created in God's image and likeness: unique, irreplaceable and indispensable. Do we see ourselves as that Gift?
My child, honor yourself with humility, and give yourself the esteem you deserve"
- Sirach 10:28
Inviting others in
We thrive when we feel at home in a community, because we were made for Communion. Deep, healthy relationships are essential.
"...show hospitality, for through this some have entertained angels unaware"
- Hb 12:2
Caring for our earthly home
""God put the man in the garden to till it and keep it"
- Genesis 2:15
When we see the world as our home, we can't turn a blind eye to the struggles of another, or to the groans
of creation. We must act.
Seeking our eternal home
We are on a journey towards our permanent home in heaven. What's eternal comes first, because all other things won't last.
"At that time I will gather you; at that time I will bring you home..."
- Zephaniah 3:20
Who do we turn to for inspiration and guidance?
CVVM's patron Saints are the Holy Family and the Saintly Siblings of Bethany. These two families teach us how to to love God and one another, and how to grow in communion, regardless of our different personalities and temperaments. They also inspire us to grow in hospitality, generosity, selflessness and, above all, abandonment in the midst of our normal, hidden lives. We hope that as you journey with us you may come to love and admire them as we do.
Holy Family, Saintly Siblings of Bethany, pray for us!
What are we currently offering?
How do we live it out ?
(FE)^2, aka "fe al cuadrado" (faith squared) is the community we are creating by opening our house and our hearts to other young people. We follow a simple formula which allows us to live out each dimension of the Culture of Home:
(FE)^2 = FEFE= Fellowship * Evangelization in word and deed* integral Formation * the Eucharist
We hope any mathematical enthusiast out there will be able to appreciate the word play but, for those of you who aren't as mathematically inclined, the point is that the activities and programs we host are bound to help you grow in all areas of your life, but specially in faith: faith in yourself, faith in humanity and yes, faith in God.
What about our future projects?
As we mentioned before, our ministry has several phases. Each of these actually corresponds to one of the pillars of the Culture of Home. We are currently on phase 2. This is why the initiatives we are implementing now are focused on either becoming a home for God or being at home within ourselves. However, once we move on to phases 3 and 4, you can expect the following:
Movie nights
Formation nights
Women's & men's nights
Dine & Wine nights
Local and international missions
Tiny House Building
Community gardens
External resources we use and recommend
We don't believe in reinventing the wheel, so when we come across something that we benefit from, we like to share it with others. The following ministries and tools are examples of that. If you stick around, you will definitely come across them, so do check them out!
